Yes. Tenants have 24/7 coded gate access, seven days a week. There is no office you need to call and no opening time you need to wait for. Your truck, plow, and equipment are accessible whenever you need them.

Where do I put mowers in winter and plows in summer?

Accepted Answer

A Box Yard makes seasonal equipment storage simple. Your container can hold equipment that is out of season and needs to stay dry, including mowers, blowers, trimmers, and spreaders. Trucks and equipment currently in use can stay in the yard beside the container.

Can I store bagged salt and ice melt?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Keep it inside your container, raised off the floor on pallets and protected from moisture. Salt absorbs moisture and can clump if it gets wet. Containers are not climate controlled and Box Yard does not provide utilities.

Can I keep brush, mulch, or wood on site?

Accepted Answer

Some locations allow limited amounts of brush, mulch, or wood inside your assigned space. Rules vary by location, so ask before signing. Box Yard does not provide trash service, and all materials must stay inside your rented area and out of shared drive lanes. Call 720-266-0400 to ask about a specific yard.

How much does landscaping equipment storage cost?

Accepted Answer

Colorado spaces start at $525 per month for yard space and a container. A landscaping crew with a truck, trailer, and mower setup will often use about 800 square feet for $530 to $550 per month. Larger operations with multiple trucks, skid steers, and seasonal equipment may need 1,200 square feet for $730 to $750, or 1,600 square feet for $930 to $950. Rentals are month to month, with the first month and a one month deposit due when you move in.

Can I service mowers and change blades at the yard?

Yes. Minor maintenance on your own equipment is allowed, including changing blades, sharpening, greasing, and small repairs. Fluid changes are not allowed. Box Yard containers cannot be painted, drilled, welded, or cut.
